This nineteenth century style dress is the third of 3 dresses made in recognition of the largely unacknowledged contribution of women to the operation of the Cape Bruny Lighthouse, an isolated lighthouse on the southernmost tip of Bruny Island. It is made from seaweeds gathered from Cape Bruny.
