Exhibition: Beneath the Surface

This exciting seaweed themed exhibition is being installed at the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies in Hobart this month. It will showcase a diverse group of eight artists whose work is all inspired by seaweed.

The exhibition will include sculpture, ceramics, jewellery, printmaking, fabrics, drawing and papermaking. I am one of three artists who actually create their artworks from seaweeds.

The exhibition will run for three months, and will coincide with two international Symposiums being held in Hobart in 2023 - the International Temperate Reef Symposium in January and the International Seaweed Symposium in February.
